Sword vs Shield Physics

Took a long while and several different strategies to get the enemy soldier’s sword to bounce off the knight’s shield in a convincing way. I wanted to allow for the sword to make contact with the shield near the beginning of a swing, the end of a swing, and also any point in the backswing.

Simplify, simplify. The end result uses a single revolute joint to approximate the 3 joints that were used in Spine for the art. The joint connects the circular soldier to the rectangle sword. A simple lookup table maps the angle of the joint to the image in the sprite sheet.
